St. Joseph’s Church

Built in 1891, this Heritage site required a 400 square foot addition for the installation of an elevator and improvements to the main entrance of the St. Joseph’s church in Brantford, to make it barrier free. Lanca Contracting Limited was pleased to have won the contract to add the elevator and creating additional space in the main entrance, which are important for church gatherings, ceremonies and church functions. Working within the guidelines from The Brant Avenue Heritage Conservation District Study regarding renovations, the additions were consistent with the established front building line and featuring an image of the Church crest carved in stone and displayed prominently on the outside of the building.
