Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all on-site construction activities on a daily basis.
- Manage multiple projects throughout the construction phase.
- Conduct on site meetings with trades and project manager to ensure project plans & schedule are followed.
- Conduct safety meetings on site and enforce safety policies, and all ministry guidelines in order to maintain a safe working environment for all workers on your job site.

Experience, Training, & Skills Requirements:
- 5 year minimum experience as a site superintendent on I.C.I. projects worth $1 to 5 million.
- Ability to communicate with office clients and architects.
- Strong leadership/managerial qualities required.
- Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry.
- Experience in pre-engineered steel building construction, conventional steel construction, wood framed construction.
- Knowledgeable in building codes, building bylaws, specifications etc.
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Current First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, Fall arrest/Scissor Lift, Propane, Basics of Supervision
- Team player
- Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma
- Gold Seal Certified – an asset but not required

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Senior Designer/Drafter for an immediate full-time position. The successful candidate will participate in all facets of developing contract drawings, drawing coordination, detail development, and assist in contract administration for a variety of projects using REVIT and AutoCAD, ensuring that design drawings conform to specifications provided and all applicable codes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years working knowledge of construction processes in necessary (residential and I.C.I).
- Preferred experience working for a design/build General Contractor as a drafter/designer.
- Advanced working knowledge of building construction and cost.
- Working knowledge of projects (Concept, SPA, IFP, IFC) and what is required at each stage.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic personality with excellent English proficiency.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD.
- Efficient, attention to detail and accuracy a must.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.

- Proficient in operating equipment on a construction site such as a skid steer and telehandler as needed.
- Floating equipment to various job sites.
- Properly strap and secure equipment ensuring load is safely secured.
- Load/offload equipment.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform equipment inspections/checklists.
- Organize routes to optimize time efficiently.

Skilled General Labourer Job Duties:
- Cleaning and preparing of job sites
- Loading and delivering materials and using a variety of power tools and machines, such as blowtorches, laser levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, Backhoe and Bobcat loader.
- Assisting Site Super to set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, hoarding and other temporary structures.
- Misc duties such as clean up on job site, transport shop tools and equipment, install hm/wood doors & frames, door hardware, wall framing, blocking, concrete forming.
- Experience with painting, framing, drywall an asset.
- Required to work outside in all kinds of weather or in buildings without heating or air conditioning
