Lanca Contracting Limited has completed a new commercial lease space at 440 Colborne St. W. in Brantford. This 3300sf building was originally designed for up to 3 tenants and will house a tutoring facility and a restaurant in it’s final configuration. The structure includes load-bearing masonry and structural steel, allowing large spans of storefront glazing on the street and cost-efficient security at the back. The combination of architectural block, manufactured stone accents, and horizontal siding create textural interest, anchored by the bond canopy detail.
This commercial shell was Lanca’s first project with Huang & Chu Enterprises, and fills the last available pad on their property in West Brant. We are in talks to expand this partnership to other H&C properties in Southern Ontario.
