Lanca Contracting was the successful bidder to construct this five and a half million, 40,000 square foot Convention Hall and Administration Offices. Developed for the new Ancaster Agricultural Society grounds at the corner of Trinity road and Wilson Street, this building serves the community for many public venues. It is a two storey building which houses the administration office of the Society comprised of heavy timber construction inside the convention hall with perimeter coloured architectural block. The service areas and administration is full frame construction complete with precast second floor with a prefinished standing seam roof. There is pre finished hardi board exterior, wall finish complimented by stonework. Passenger elevator to the second floor makes use of the facility user considerate and convenient.
